    Default What's your excuse?

Why are you on the forums at 3am ET? I'm actually at work, having gotten paged at 2am that our main AS400 system was unavailable. Who knew that you had to put a tape in the drive for the automated backup to run???

Twiddling my thumbs here to make sure it comes back up before I go home. Yeah, I could check it remotely, but 1. If something else happens, I don't want to have to come in again, 2. If I go home, I will go right back to bed, and, 3. I'll be pushing for OT for this... bare minimum comp time.

So... what's your excuse? I'd much rather be sleeping, personally.

I'm retired. I stay up this late just about every night and sleep until around noon.

Yeah......12:15 here now, but I stay up till 3AM most of the time. Sometimes I'll go to bed at 2AM. I stayed up until 5AM one night last week, and 4AM on another night. That really screws me up though.

I was graveyard. Now, I work earlier but it's not a crack of dawn schedule so I crank the Harmon for a few hours while I study/surf with the Grado's on my head.

    Gotta go...

The time difference mainly. When it's 3am EST it's 4pm here in Japan. Needless to say when you guys are posting in the morning I'm up at night preparing to rack out.

I'm on vacation this week, and I'm a night owl by habit. Unfortunately I have to get up pretty early in my work life.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I've got my fingers crossed for overtime from last night, but I'm not going so far as to hold my breath. I'll likely get straight comp time.
