Hafler dh100

Hi every one. Today one of my friend bering over one used Hafler HD100 pre amp to do test. when I hook up whit my power amp and SDA SRS that sound so good. Now I need to know if I can have some thing like that whit remote . I like to have that kind of sound . Any info will be nice. Thanks Roy

It's kind of hard to follow you. If you're saying can I get a pre-amp with a remote. The answer is YES. I'm not familiar with Hafler pre-amps, though I have heard Hafler amps and I've always liked them!

Perhaps some one else knows that pre-amp?

There's some decent cheap 2 channel preamps out there. Some
Parasounds like the psp-1000 or 1500 had a very good 2 channel bypass
with remote. There are some Rotel and Nad models, too. But, of course,
the bulk of 2 channel preamps don't have remotes. As one Stereophile
reviewer put it, we didn't have remotes back then, and we liked it that way!

I was asking in new model pre amp can give sound like Hafler HD100. Because I like to have some thing whit remote. I know it hard to find some thing like that. thanks

Have you ever tried B&K PT3 it has a remote and a tuner used you can find them for$200.00 to $250.00 A very good deal if you ask me. I love the sound from mine.

No I have not try that model. But I will look in to it. My power amp is Adcom 5800 and speakers are SDA SRS. Have you or any one else had try that pre whit that amp ?. Thanks Roy

I have had great sound with Carver CT-28v preamp. Yes, it's a 5.1 preamp, but it has a stereo mode.. and the other advantage of using such a preamp is that you can hook up a sub to it, so you will have a 2.1 setup.

Adcom preamps also have remotes, but again, most are 5.1 with 2.1/2.0 options.

My Marantz AV550 DD preamp also has a direct stereo mode... so you have a lot of choices.
