Just wanted to know if you stayed with the same values in your caps or did you change them? What were your results?

I have done an LSiC crossover upgrade (with very good results) and expect even better results from the LSi7 upgrade (due to the crossover design and values)

I (and most people I think) stick with the same values for the components and just use higher quality ones. I repace the caps with SonicCaps and the resistors with Mills. You could also change out the inductors, but I have not gone that far.

Good luck with the upgrade and take lots of pictures. Any other questions, just ask.

They may have one soon. I noticed when PartsConnexion has a sale, Sonic Craft usually follows and vice versa.

As for changing values, if you have to ask...don't. An air core inductor for the woofer wouldn't be a bad idea, but make sure the DCR is the same or very close to the OEM value.

The rest depends on your budget.

    Very good point.

If you have soldered before, I can't see the LSi7 being that much of a problem. Not like an LSi15 or an RTiA9

I did not want to muddy up your thread with my own upgrade so I started my own here.....

If you have any specific questions, just ask and I will make sure I get a photo of it as I work on mine. I expect to start the work on mine next week sometime, so you have until then for any preemptive type questions.

Have you ordered your parts yet for the upgrade? What did you end up getting?
