    I smell something. I believe it's a crock.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to good analogue reproduction.

I believe you are right however, I wish you'd be wrong! Quitting is unfortunately can not be done by magic. One must be ready, willing and patient. No Blue magic to replace will power!

    Frequently asked questions.

Is there nicotine in the blu eCig? Yes, the replacement cartridges come in Full Flavored, Light, Ultra Light & No Nicotine.

Is it smoke you inhale? No, it's actually water vapor. The eCig is comprised of a battery and an atomizer which turns the liquid nicotine into water vapor.

Can I really smoke the blu anywhere?
Yes, the blu can be smoked in restaurants, bars and even airplanes.

I really want to see whoever brave enough to puff one while on a plane. I am sure the flight attendants and the on-board marshall have no interest in listening to the explanation.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

How is this thing different? It still has nicotine in it (see messages above regarding cartridges).

Many health organizations in the world are opposed to these "cigarettes" because of bad influence and because of exactly the same philosophy - kids/teens or people in general might think that inhaling that crap is better than smoking.
In Ontario, smoking is banned in all public places, including bars, and I hope it will stay that way - I really hope that some people won't pull out this thing and say 'hey, it's not real'. That's BS.

:D I agree Bob! They will be tossing you right out of the plane, resturaunt, job, & bars!:D

BTW, since it contains nicotine, which is what gets people hooked on smoking, it isn't there to help people quit smoking, nor do I think it will stop people from getting lung cancer.

Actually, it isn't the nicotine that is the worse but the 1000s of chemicals created by the paper and tobacco and god knows which other addictive poisons that are added. If this was really created to help people at avoid some of the poison, stop from poisonning non smoker but I could see this as a scape goat for tobacco companies drugging people in a clean healthy way While I see ViperZ view, this could be heavily debatable in a court of law as this nicotine feeder poisons a willing victim while not being harmfull for the surrounding people. Afterall, nicotine patches, gums and droplets are quite acceptable in public. Unless there is evidence that the nicotine vapors are offensive or nocive to non-willing people well, it could float in courts for many years before proven nocive to the point of banning.

I haven't had one since my dad went into the hospital after having that major heart attack. This past Saturday was one week and it's been HARD AS HELL!!!! Everytime I think about having one I just think of my dad, he had to quit as well. Knowing if he fires up again it could literally kill him has absolutely scared the **** out of both him and me. If my dad has to quit, I had to quit, not only for moral support for my dad, but for my wife and kids and I guess my health as well, know I'm just killing my liver.:D

A friend of mine is a dealer of these and yes they do work, she only smokes a pack of regular cigs a week and the rest of the time she is using one of these. i have tried it myself and it seems to curve the craving, now i'm not sure if its all in the mind or if it really works. So think what you will but I have had first hand experience with it and I do believe that they are a good thing just my 2 cents tho.

Some reading that came up on Google's first page:

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...ned.html?cat=3

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7941021.stm

But tests by trading standards officers found the concentration of nicotine in some products would normally need the label "highly toxic" and they are already banned in Australia.
This one is actually funny, although should be very concerning for so-called e-smokers:

Jason Cropper, managing director of the Electronic Cigarette Company, has previously revealed that tests done on mice had shown the products to be safe, although no human trials have been done.

Well it would seem that your body craves the nicotine if your a smoker so I would think anyway you managed to get it into your bloodstream whether it be smoking, chewing, patch, snuff, gum, licking an ashtray or what have you, it would work.

As far as non smokers being offended by using this product on a plane, bar/restaraunt, work I think they need to and would have to get over it, its not like your actually smoking and creating a hazard for others, and as far as I know thats why the non smoking laws were created for these enviroments and if your inhaling nicotine flavored water your not smoking and shouldndt be breaking any laws.

Now there are employers who will not hire employees who have used any form of tobbaco products within 6 months and do not allow the use while employed but since this is not an actual tobbaco product im not sure they could refuse to hire or fire you if you did unless the policy strictly forbade the use of nicotine period.

You never know this may be the next Snapple stock oppurtunity if it actually takes off, the price of tobbaco has risen so high smokers are looking for alternatives, and they are addicted to nicotine the same way coffee drinkers are addicted to caffiene and dont want to or are unable to stop.

I was playing poker the other night and one of the guys there had one of these. I had no clue what that thing was. He was sitting right beside me and everytime he took a drag some smoke emitted from it. At the time I was sitting there, I was thinking why am I not smelling smoke...why is it not bothering me as I am quite sensitive to cigarette smoke. Later, I learned that it was actually water vapour. I learned all this after he had left. They also told me he had one at a local smokefree casino and once he explained it they allowed him to have it.

I think it is simply a nicotine hit only, for those times when one is in a smoke free environment. Don't know what it is like from a smokers perspective but I loved it.

Default Electronic cigarette as an option for quitting...

When Lasareath first posted on this subject I was sceptical. Started to hear more and more on the subject and finally got testimony from a neighbor user. A lady from an adjacent business use to come outside for her smoking and suddenly she completely dissapeared. Some of her cooworker mentioned she ordered the epuffer and never touched a cigarette since. They also mentioned she was looking healthier, not coughfing anymore etc... On the same day, I spoke with her and she pointed out that she didn't miss the tpyical cigarette smoming (burning of tobacco). I then proceed to look at the below site and see what they had to offer.

    http://epuffer.com/

    http://www.epuffer.com/electronic-ci...cigarette.html

I kind of like the below review as it somewhat shows what I have been experiencing. I never opened any cartridge yet though (I think I might try open a used one this weekend):

    http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoID=46312021

There are many other reviews but what is real and what is actually company sponsored/marketting???

    http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...epuffer+review

    1. I tought this was a good thing:

ePuffer 30 Day Money Back Guarantee!

We're so confident you'll love your new ePuffer Electronic Cigarette, we'll let you test drive it for 30 days with no risk. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for any reason within 30 days of the receipt date.
    2. The nicotine cartridges look somewhat like a quitting aid I purchase years ago but you had to suck the nicotine from your own power and the taste was awfull (sucking pure nicotine):

    [QUOTE][What is ePuffer Electronic Cigarette?

E-Puffer electronic cigarette (or e-cig / "e-cigarette") is an alternative to smoked tobacco products, such as cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. It is a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine by delivering a vaporized nicotine solution. In addition to nicotine delivery, this vapor also provides a flavor and physical sensation similar to that of inhaled tobacco smoke, while no tobacco, smoke, or combustion is actually involved in its operation.
/QUOTE]When using this method, it does actually feel like you are really smoking. The feeling of the warm smoke going into your mouth, throath and lungs is very similar to the actual cigarette burning but without the choking. For other people, it also looks like you are really smoking. I was at my usual restaurant and there were 2 police men having lunch at a table. While paying for my take out lunch, I decided to trick the waitress with this gadget. As I sucked on it like I would on a real cigarette, her eyes came as big as you could imagine and she turned and looked at the policemen way. I really tricked her and we had a big laugh afterward :D I did similar at the office and my cooworker tought I was trying to get fired :p

    3. Additional to nicotine, my quick research gave me concerns only to Propylene Glycol since the other 2 additives are widely found in food products and are described as non hazardous to the human body.
What is inside ePuffer and is it safe for humans?

The ingredients of e-liquid (the juice that is used in our electronic cigarette cartridges) are: Nicotine Liquid, Propylene Glycol, Acetyl Pyrazine, Damascenone and flavor. Most of the ingredients could be found in many fruits and vegetables and are known to be safe for humans.
    4. Four steps method for quitting

The user guide suggest this method:
    1. Use high nicotine level (8mg) for 6 weeks by normal smoking habit...
    2. Use medium nicotine level (6mg) for 12 weeks...
    3. Then use low nicotine level (4mg) for 4 more weeks and then...
    4. Finally use a cartridge without nicotine for 2 weeks as the goal is to lead to smoking abstention.

Is this a quit smoking aid?

E-Puffer has helped many people who wanted to quit, cut down or simply smoke healthier. Our product is unique and totally different from nicotine gums, patches or any other solutions that are available on the market today. On average, it takes about 5 months for one to move down from High to Zero nicotine intake and once you are at zero nicotine, it is up to you how you want to handle your habit. You can simply stop (no more nicotine cravings), or continue your habit smoking zero nicotine cartridges when you feel like it.
I am a fairly heavy smoker and therefore started with extra strong level of nicotine (16mg) which is closer to real smoking. Yet, I have tried nicotine patches, gum and inhaler. I also tried laser theathment all of which were unsuccessfull. I am not sure where this epuffer will lead me but yet the smoking craving isn't there. When I received the epuffer, I still had 1/2 a pack of cigattes left which I always kept in my coat pocket but that seems to be inexistant since I started to use the epuffer. Yet, I still go outside when I have the urge for nicotone, still hang around the usual crowd of smokers but use the epuffer instead. I am already starting to notice how strong and stinky the burning of a cigarette is however, it doesn't really bother me.

When I ordered my starter package I also ordered some sample of coffee and chocolate flavored cartridges but while they do not cost more ordering them is a waiste of time as the flavoring is BS.

While I realize smoking is totally un-healthy, I figure this is a good alternative to conventional smoking. NOT aggressive to NON smokers in any ways (none of them complained, they even were quite positive having me suckning on this while they were around me). I don't have the usual smoking cough, I breathe better and sleep better at night Anyway, I sure would hope that this time, this placebo would lead me away from the smoking habit once for all but only time can tell ;) I have to admit disciplining my self to quit always been hell but for some reason it doesn't seem so hard this time around. Again, time will tell?????????????

    Cheers!

I think there was a report the other day that these things are not much healthier than cigarettes and can be just as addicting
