Im thinking the first thing I may do after I move in for reals...

Projector -- Pull down screen, obviously...

Pioneer Elite Receiver with Preouts - updated settings..

Dual LFE Subs (SVS cylinders most likely) -- VM20 rear surrounds and center.

I would advise against this, but if you really HAVE to then make sure it's tab tensioned. The pull down screens will develop waves and will look like S!

Oh and congrats on the place!

    Thanks --

Well, with the low interest rates and the tax credit...

    This place is immaculate...

I am looking at a motorized screen... that is acoustically transparent...

Wood floors are fine. Wall to wall carpet can make things too dead.

A little acoustic treatments on the walls, some furniture covering the floor, maybe an area carpet if it needs damped down.

Well then, my hat's off to you sir. Not only for your new house, but the next leg in your audio journey. That room has been your biggest deficiency to your rig for some time.

Rock on bro' and we'll meet up soon enough.

    Im looking forwards to it...

First things first actually - changing out the locks, new front and rear door (metal), and an alarm system. That will be done before I move anything in! :)
