Hi there, haven't posted here in forever! Anyway, the title says it all. In August 2008 I purchased a Marantz SR6001 receiver from uBid.com. At the time, uBid was an authorized dealer as listed on the Marantz website. Fastforward to June 2009. The Marantz website no longer lists uBid as an authorized dealer. Funny how these things happen, because for the 3rd time since Aug 2008 my receiver is in need of service due to going into protect mode.
I am wondering how all of this is going to shake down. I wrote Marantz an email explaining the situation. Does anyone have to info. Will Marantz still cover the repairs? When I purchased the piece of equipment, it was still from an authorized dealer. The item is still under the 1 year warranty as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
