Angry North Korea Fires 4 Missiles

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090704/...nkorea_missile

I think we need to test fire a few of our own now in Kim Jong's back yard.
Crazy little bastard wants to play games, I say give him one.

    Seriously... Kim Jong is ILL.

does anyone remember that Johnny Cash tune "a boy named Sue"? I was wondering what kind of man would name his son Kim anyway. Maybe the poor guy got the crap kicked out of him. Could you see that Fuctard being called Lil' Kim all the time?

Ummm...Kim is a very common Korean family name and often the sur name comes first in their culture.

    I wouldn't worry.
The current folks at DC are already tuning their guitars.
rehearsals for kumbaya chanting are in progress.
If that doesn't work, the ultimate weapon will:
a "Serious dialogue" with the nastiest psycho dictator imaginable.
Though I suspect the new policy is promising negotiation, just when oppressed people
finally gather the courage to hit the streets.
maybe it kinda makes some sense: if the protest work, there is no room for chanting,
and the current administration are nothing if not a music lovers.
(or at least that's the impression one gets from all the concerts/photo op we catch in the evening news).

If the World Community (if there is such a thing) doesn't respond to this now, then we're in deep kimchi. And we're already in some deep effin kimchi. This guy's a lunatic that needs to be dealt with.

Yes, Barack the most merciful, our glorious leader will handle this Im sure. Its obvious the Koreans fear him. And why shouldnt they. He's already traveled the world and apologized for this "arrogant" country and all the sins theyve committed on his fellow "citizens of the world". And sitting there smiling while dictators give hour long speeches about how rotten and lousy this country is. And the news that America is a "muslim nation" is sure to wring fear in the hearts of terrorists.

Nah, Im not worried at all.

And this differs from the prior eight years of Bush/Republican policy of pretending North Korea doesn't exist and wasn't a problem exactly how?

So NK is helping to celebrate the US July 4th Holiday by sending up some nice fireworks!

That's very nice of them! :D

The problem isnt North Korea as much as it is China. We would have no problem walking

Reagen would have shot that **** down and told him not to do it again.

Hilliary is preparing the surrender papers now, while Joe Biden is formulating a large economic stimulus package to these extortionists. President O is reading the editorials in the newspapers and seeking data from public opinion polls.

This thread has far too much political banter in it, and it's not doing any favors for the atmosphere in CP, judging from some of the comments ... IMHO of course. I also find it somewhat disloyal to be posting this kind of stuff on the 4th of July.

Agreed... I think China uses N. Korea to keep us looking the other way, and thus play us for fools. Unfortunately the inmates now run the asylum and stupid is as stupid does.

On the contrary... The most loyal thing we CAN do is discuss what is happening around us, and more importantly TO us and this great nation. Our founding fathers would have done no less.

Some posts are still very critical of the current President and Commander in Chief of the United States of America. It's part of the democratic process, certainly, but on the 4th of July, I find it disloyal and distasteful. It is JMO, FWIW. Everyone can make up their own mind on what they think about this before posting.

Also, just so you know, Kim Jong Il isn't just randomly firing missiles. He's royally pissed at the current South Korean government because they backed out of alot of agreements the previous South Korean president made with them (big problem that South Korean 'democracy'). And on top of backing out, they are doing the opposite of the work of those agreements such as banning all business or trade with North Korea. Which means the population of North Korea gets to suffer. Obviously, Kim Jong Il doesn't CARE about the population, but if it affects the population, then it indirectly affects the glory of his nation.

Just wanted to point out background information that most Americans don't know.
