Default Geez....July 4th just passed (Sears X'mas sale in progress)

Yup, received email from Sears that I can already get special X'mas gift deals.

Why not just have a year-round X'mas sale?

Fun fact - July 2 is the exact mid-point of the year, so late June / early July is pretty much as FAR from Christmas as you can possibly get.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Nothing new. I started recieving "Back to School Sale" flyers in May this year, before school was even out. I think retailers are getting desperate.

Did you not know that after we pass the 4th of July summer is over and we are in the dead of winter. Well it seems like that anyway. July and August passes by so fast the next thing I know we are having turkey dinner at the in-law's house.

Retailers, and manufacturere's are getting DESPERATE! Pay attention to the commercials:
"If you lose your income...." Nice message, huh?
I think that MIGHT have something to do with the consumer confidence TANKING!

guess I won't be shopping at sears any time soon. I refuse to patronise retailers that cannot wait until the halloween decorations come down before the christmas stuff goes up.
