    Default Parasound A21 question

This amps manual recommends 3 inches on the side and 6 inches on top to hrlp keep it cool. Does any one have this amp in a smaller space and have you had any heat related problems? Thanks.

It all depends on how you use it, the more you push it (Loud) the more room you need to keep it cool. But understand the cooler of electronic stuff, the longer it will last. ;)

Six inches on top is probably not necessary. I ran mine with three or four inches or so clearance on top and plenty on the sides. It's the sides you'd want to keep clear since the heat sinks can get quite warm after a while. Having said that, the amp has plentiful heat sinks so it dissipates heat very well.

6 inches above is a must. I called them (Parasound) and asked personally.
