Damn $250 for Passive Radiators. That's expensive.

Considering that they haven't been available for many years now, I'd have to say the price was dirt cheap and Sal was very lucky to find them at any price.

Plus the fact that they were Brand New( Look at the virgin radiator gasket in the pic :) ) ...ordered from Polk back when they were still available new, not pulled from some abused speakers sitting in a garage too beat up to refurbish.

Also, it was 81.40 to ship the 2 boxes from the west coast to the east coast....each box was packed very well and then double boxed to survive anything UPS could dish out. They weighed just about 20 pounds per box.

I didnt make 1 dime selling them to Sal, as a matter of fact I didnt even want to sell them....I just had been a lurker on the polk forum for years and read a thread where Sal said his cat took out one of his radiators....so I offered to help. I had already sold my first pair of 1.2TL's years back, and these were part of the extensive spares I had ordered ( Still have twelve 6.5" factory sealed 6503's and 6511's ....I used 4 of them on some DIY polks...never ordered tweeter spares...didnt like the SL3000 )

Actually , I have enough vintage Polks here now ( SRS's....2.3's...2 pair of CRS+'s ....2b's...etc ) that my spares are justified ( Before I was going to build my own set of custom 1.2TL's using RD0198's but ran out of room )

Should have seen my back bedroom before I finished all of my TC Sounds subwoofers ( They arent being made anymore either....glad I hoarded when I did ) ....it looked like a warehouse.

Actually , I just went and looked at another driver stash area and noticed 2 factory sealed boxes I forgot I still had...I had ordered 4 of these , and when I sold 2 of them I forgot all about them

Just a couple of factory sealed Titanium coned weight adjustable ( Hz Tuneable ) VMP's ....15" Passive Radiators. So yeah...a driver whore of the utmost caliber.

Actually these are gonna add to my new toy fund when I sell them now ( Ran out of room....nowhere I can use them :o )

These are pics of the 2 I sold.....the 2 I have now are identical...brand new.

They come with weights and a huge nut to lock them down on the threaded shaft....and a chart to show how much weight to add to achieve a certain tune. Here they are with their new brand name Audiopulse...
