Spark Plugs Obsolete

Say goodbye to spark plugs, a 19th century technology about to be supplanted by lasers. The U.K. paper The Telegraph reports that Ford is working with the University of Liverpool to develop a laser ignition system for internal-combustion engines. That's right: engines with frickin' lasers strapped to their heads.

I for one hate collector cars. I'd much rather spend cash on the newest thing out then something outdated.

It's not that they're outdated...it's just that they're not ridiculously over optioned.

It's the bare essentials. It's not about driving in complete comfort with your 4 zone climate control, heated 9-way electrically adjustable leather seats.

It's about driving a balls to the walls piece of classic, timeless American iron with a bucket seat bolted directly to the floor that rattles the hell out of your bones, and gets your heart rate flying. That's living.:D

Exactly...The old American iron is still around because it was built to last, unlike the cheap poorly produced plastic pieces of junk that are around today.

You could get in a head on collision with another car in the Fleetwood and probably drive away...lol

If I had to pick one classic car...it would be a very timely process.

A few that would come to the top of the list...
