Well, we moved (locally) last weekend and it wasn't until I had to pack up my audio gear that I discovered what a pain it would be transport this stuff (we moved into another 2nd floor apt.) Once you move this stuff yourself (I didn't trust anyone else to handle these pieces, including two friends who helped with the move) you really begin to appreciate the UPS/FedEx guys for what they do (and in my case wonder why I didn't wait until the time I settled down [permanently] before acquiring this stuff).

Of course, it could have been worse...a pair of those SDAs would have really been a bitch to move I'm guessing. But for now, at least, everything sounds a bit sweeter.

I know how you feel I was in the Air Force for 27 years moved 10 or 12 times. Have lived here for 30 years would kill me to move again. Good luck in the new place stay put awhile

Yeah, Mike, I bought this only a few months before I bought a separate amp and pre for the Lsi9s. I couldn't bear to sell it because I just liked it too much. I'm using it as the foundation for a secondary 2-channel system, matched with a Marantz CD5001 and a pair of RtiA3s. This is the bedroom rig that I'm listening to right now. Like it a lot. I even wrote a review for it on Amazon (which I rarely do).

I live in a 1st floor apt and looking at my gear, i often cringe at the thought of a move. I know i wouldnt trust a soul for help, LOL. Wife and i are house hunting right now, so it is inevitable. I know i will probably be a one man show when it comes time to move gear.;) Good luck with the new pad Norm, yeah, saving the original boxes is key. I do the same.:D

I bet that's a great match with the A3's. I'm using mine with a pair of RTi6 and find it excellent. It has a very good phono stage also.
