I don't get the whole "tat" thing. Not judging, just don't get it.

    From Beavis and Butthead 1994

Butt-Head: Hey Beavis. I bet when we get that reward money, we can like, see that movie about stiffies, and we can like, pay for our own tattoos.
Beavis: Yeah! Then we'll be cool.
    Butt-Head: I'll get a tattoo of a butt.
Beavis: I'll get a tattoo of a butt *on* my butt!
    Butt-Head: Oh yeah?
    Beavis: Yeah!
Butt-Head: Well I'll get a tattoo of a butt that has a butt-shaped tattoo on it, and I'll get it right on my butt! That would be cool.
Beavis: [briefly pauses] Yeah, me too.

    Default Nice ink!!!

Looks good. I have 3 tats that I got while over in Germany. I want another and it also will be a KOI, I want it on my left rib cage. Need to find a good shop to do it , not too many around my parts.

Awesome tattoo. Its life changing. You feel like a completely different person right after its done. Its hard to explain if you've never got one. I just still have the one. But I've had the water colored in. I'll have to post an updated pic when I get a chance.

Figured I would revive an old thread. Got my first tattoo and had a buddy who is an art professor help me design it. Always wanted something to honor my family and remind me of my priorities. The Tree of Life has always appealed to me. My wife has a tattoo of an acorn with a shadow of an oak tree so wanted to incorporate the acorn. Her initial J is on the trunk to symbolize stability and strength since she is the one taking care of the family most of the time and my kids initials M and C under the branches to represent the "fruit". Symbolic and something that means a lot to me. But thought I would share.

Can you get it so the scales actually glitter instead of those little circles around them ? Or is the fish draped in pearls ?

Not my first but the latest. .....

Artist is Ron Givens. Started a couple weeks ago when I was in Reno. I drove over to Redding CA to the shop he is working at (Tattoz Ink) Got 4.5 hours of it done while I was there and took another 2 hours to complete while doing a guest spot at Clint Cumming's Sparrow's Tattoo Company.

Where are you in Indiana? I've worked at many tattoo shops through out all of Indiana and Illinois both. I am currently at Ruffhouse tattoos in Valparaiso. I spent a few years in Lafayette. A couple years in Terre Haute. Most of my career has been spent in Indianapolis.
