Default Using 4 RTI A5, do you recomend it?

Hi, I just want to take advance of an extremly ultra very good sale in Futureshop for the RTIA5 (they are selling them for CAD$299/each). I already have a pair. But I was asking myself what happen if I use one pair for the back. My current configuration is:
    Onkyo 606
    Front: 2 RTIA 5
    Sides: 2 Energy C100
    Back: 2 FXIA4

If I buy the RTIA5, I will put the FXIA5 in both sides.
What do you think? Is it worth the money? Do I hear a big difference in sound?

    thanks

I say go for it! I have always ran towers for my sorrounds and backs and love it, especially for multi channel music (which is taboo around here, but a guilty pleasure of mine, I figure I have all of those good sounding towers, I might as well put them to good use). If you have the room, I would use the second set of RTI-A5s for the sorrounds and keep the FXIA4s as backs. Of course if you don't have the room to do this, do what you have to to.

thanks for your suggestion. But do you think it will be a big difference in sound quality having 4 RTIA5? (replacing the Energy C100)

    thanks

I guess it depends on your ultimate goal?
If you are looking for a big difference in sound, I would say upgrade to the a9’s and find your a5’s a new happy home!:D
    That is what I did.
You would also need an external amp for the a9’s if you don’t already have one.

Thanks bklynnupe but the A9's are too much for me (space+ budget). Mainly I want to know if I replace the Energy C100 by the RTIA5 the sound experience of my system would be better (comparing with I already have) and also if my current receiver will be ok with this change.

    thanks

You can get them cheaper then that on polk direct. I think they're about 480 shipped on polk direct per pair.

Sounds good, I used the RTi8 towers for a nice surround system. Towers look better and sound better.

Not taboo for everyone, I'm a big fan of listening to multichannel music and towers are perfect for it. There are so many ways to listen to music on a receiver. Let your ears be your guide.
