Default Monitor 40s or TSI 300?

I recently came into some money (won a raffle! :D) and was thinking about stepping up my current 2 channel system to a 5.1. Right now I have a pair of Monitor 40s and psw 10 sub that are powered by a Yamaha 463 AVR. And I'm not sure which is best, to get another pair of monitor 40s or get the TSI 300s and use the monitors as surrounds. The system will be used 60/40 for music and movies respectively and a CS10 as the center channel.

What do you guys think, is it worth the extra $50 to get the TSI 300 towers or should i stick with the monitor 40s?

If you buy from newegg, you can get the monitor 50's for around half msrp, which is believe is the predecessor to the 300.
