    Default Tards on eBay

    It pays to shop around...

This Trivista 21 DAC being sold by MSS Hi Fi, now going for $1425:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Identical product from the same seller on A-gon for $995:

    http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls....-TriVista-21-d

I guess if you have 4 or 5 hundred dollars to waste, no big deal.

i don't think the seller is a tard. he may value the item differently according to his need. that's why you see 2 threads for similar products in the FS have 2 different prices. it's who buys the item is more a tard. and even so, the buyer may not be a tard as again, he may value the item differently according to his need and his willingness to spend extra for a little convenience. so your thread title is meaningless.

I wouldn't buy from mss hi fi. Their goods are not the best used out there.

The ebay bidders are the ones I'm referring to. The product is identical, from the same seller, just two different web sites. The ebay bidders have driven up the price over $400 more than what they could pay on A-gon. There is no difference in convenience. The websites operate virtually the same. Therefore the thread title has meaning.

Uhm, the audiogon link you've provided has the item listed as $1750...not $995

    They must of changed it.

    It was $995 earlier.

Miss HiFi gave me my only negative rating on Audioon when I agreed to buy a pair of Dali Helicons that were in 9/10 condition, and the refused when he sent me pictures of the speakers and noticed a big scratch on them. He gave me bad feedback and audiogon refuses to remove it. It's BS, but he sells a lot so A'gon is not going to punish him.

Yeah, it was changed! I guess their ebay auction convinced them that the market value was higher. Funny because there are at least two other Trivista 21's being offered on A-gon for under $1k.
