Hey Polkie 918 if you aim that center down you may yield even better results in your front soundstage.

    Great setups...

Hey Polkie918 - Is that some kind of digital fireplace underneath the TV? At first, thought it was a sub, then looked closer.

    I'm jealous of everyone :)

I am in the process of building mine. Just bought a house with a 20 x 20 basement living room. only a 6.5' ceiling but the house was too good to pass up (upstairs rents out so I basically live for free!)

Going to be a dual-purpose living room with a dedicated theatre room kind of layout. Walls still missing and 14/2 cable strewn EVERYWHERE! Insulation is itchy!!! Need a beer and a smoke.
Pics are taken often throughout the build. Can't wait to show off and get some CC in a few weeks. (as long as its ready by the release of Modern Warfare 2!!

Love the rooms posted so far, wish they could be mine!

to answer a couple questions above.....yes thats an electric fireplace built into the tv stand...I thought it was pretty sweet and we got a great deal at big lots....$479...last one in stock...marked down to $400 then a 20% coupon so we paid $320.....looks alot better then before we had 2 glass stands next to each other....

and about aiming the center channel down I will look into that cause it is pretty high up..thanks

Not nearly as good as the awesome ones here, but it's been a major budget build. Next things to get is a decent sub and some better surrounds, but have to save up some money first. Maybe next year.

My dog Jack decided he wanted to be in the pic a bit too, haha.

My HT has been "done" for awhile now, but it really never ends IMO. The idea was to fit a dedicated HT in a fairly small space without changing the main structural beams / walls of the basement.
