I guess nobody else has has a problem hitting their knee in a Mustang.
Either way, I'm in no hurry. Sometime in 2010. There's even a fine selection of the Shelby's around here, since they build them locally.
But, once again, this will mostly be driven by the wife. I work out of the
house and seldom go anywhere. I stopped driving fast a long time ago.
Handcuffs will do that to you!
About the problem with the column adjuster, isnt it under the column? Or is it on the side? Most newer Fords cars have that adjustment under the column, then to lock it in you tuck it inside the bottom of the column. I cant remember for sure where it is placed on the mustang.

How did I insult you? I thought, compared to some of the other comments in this thread directed at you:D, that I was somewhat reserved. Anyways you still did not answer the most important question that I asked. WERE any of these fords bought new? When buying used cars you are gambling because you have no idea how the vehicle was treated by the previous owner. I have a friend who is 10 yrs younger than I am and I would never buy anything from him because he beats the livin' **** out of everything he has lol

Little known fact. 90% of the components used in the F-16 are used in Honda civics.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. Yes, because maintaining combustion turbines is exactly the same as with a car.

Let it go already, he's not getting the Nissan.

The funny thing is I have not brought the z up for the past 6 post I made. I know he is not getting one that is why I recommended the challenger. Your the one that will not drop the z.

allow me to clarify. My point was, the Z car lineage has recalls just like the Mustang lineage does. the 2010 Mustang as well as the 370Z does not have recalls, beings both are brand new models....this would make sense...........to someone that isnt an idiot.

LOL just because I like imports more than domestic and though I would voice my opinion about a sports car choice, considering both choices were not really sports cars. A corvette a shelby mustang, things like that are sports cars. Sigh this is better than tv.

    STFU!!!:D

    j/k

If Emo made cars, there is little doubt they would be the most powerful, best handling, best looking cars that ever have been or ever will be made. They will have the finest audio systems and be more luxurious than a Bentley Continental and guaranteed to get you the best valet parking spots and laid every time you drive one. And they will get 1000 miles per gallon too. In fact, GOD himself would drive one. Ane the best part is they would only charge 19.95 for them, so everyone could own one.

I bet the Porsche and Ferrari guys would be lined up around the block to dump their ****box eurotrash to get one for each day of the week....NOT!:p

    Oh my God.

I don't know where to start!

sucks3beme, if you want a plush ride with some balls but not necessarily super sporty, look at the Taurus SHO. A bit more than a Mustang but AWD, 365 horsepower, 4 doors and a cabin like a vault! Very squishy and comfy too without giving up too much in the way of performance. Drive one, you might like it. It's not a sports car though and has rather benign styling compared to the typical long hood short passenger bubble and fast back profile of the sportier cars.

Otherwise, if you go Mustang, they will start offering incentives to get rid of the 2010 models around August of next year to make room for the new 2011 models and you'll get a killer deal.

The Challenger, I like the thought of it but I think execution of the idea was poor. But hey, if you like it, you like it. I think the execution of it looks awkward. It's also heavy and while it may feel like a nice ride, the Mustang will out perform it in most respects except maybe straight-line acceleration. The Mustang weighs almost 500 pounds less and that kind of a difference will be substantial. Depends on what you are looking for more than anything but the Mustang is the performer and the Challenger is the looker.
You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you!

I am not a fan of Ford... It's not that I don't like them, I'm just not a "Ford guy". No big deal. I say that thought, because when I like any car, there is a reason.

The new SHO is one of those cars that I like. It is an unassuming sleeper of a car that is stylish enough to turn the heads of other drivers, but pedestrian enough to catch people off guard when you let loose at a red light.

You can do your shopping at Sam's an Costco with a fullsized trunk and still fit some of your friends in the back. And fast. I mean fast.

Performance is what this think is with a stylish and unassuming overcoat.

Think drunken bikini model with a trench coat on.

Off-topic - that new Taurus is nice. Ford did a great job. It could replace my Honda Accord as my commuter car.

On-topic - ever since being the owner of a 1970 Mustang (which unfortunately was sold to pay for college) I'm biased towards the Mustang. Ford is doing a great job on them and I would chose one of those over any other domestic sports car (if the term domestic can even be used in the auto industry anymore!).

It's on the bottom, and the handle lip sticks out just far enough to get me right on the kneecap when getting out. I'm used to a truck , so I most likely would adjust if I drve it on a daily basis. But since the wife will be prime
I would continue to hit it the once a month I'd drive it.

The newer Mustangs seem to have gotten it right in overall design.
The Challenger is more comfortable for us old geezers, though.
My plan is to wait for next fall and get in on the closeouts.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben
