I live for the weekends

Drove around for a bit today looking for cars for the girlfriend. Didn't find anything, but had a nice drive, anyway. So we stopped for lunch at the local sport tavern. Shot two games of pool (surprised I won both). Downed a pitcher of Yuengling on my own in the time we were there. Came home, had another lager or two... now sipping on a pale ale. Yeah, I know it's not even 4pm, but I've got a good buzz going right now. Plan on keeping it through the night. Nothing too heavy, though... have work tomorrow.

How many others are taking full advantage of the weekend? I don't drink at all during the week (or at least I try not to... too many morning of going in to work hungover... no fun), but call it the weekend and I'll drink 'til midnight on Sunday as long as I know I'm not going to be hungover :P

I usually drink on the weekends myself. Not really every weekend, but if schedule allows then I will. Sounds like you had a good weekend, enjoy.

Last night was excellent, too. Had a few beers, made bbq chicken on the grill, got the girlfriend drunk, watched some NCIS, and... err... well, you don't need to know the rest :P ;)

just got home from the golf course, the weather in ne ohio is unseasonably warm. had a couple today and darnit, another one now :p

Went grocery shopping with the so. (Something i actually like to do, i love seeing a full fridge of goodies.)

Went to the junkyard. (Something else i LOVE to do.) Picked up some goodies for the MX6. Cost me a grand total of about $15.

Came home, listened to some tunes, played some GT4, and enjoyed some Woodchuck Draft Cider. Good times!

Now for another 60 hour week. :(

Well the weekend is gone but we are all living for the next one! And the one after that is a 4 day event for me!!
Didn't drink enough for any buzzing but got a lot of my own to do list done! The weather has been great here and gave this procrastinator no excuses for not doing the outdoorsy stuff. And to top it off I didn't have to endure another Giants loss this Sunday but got to enjoy the Boys and Eagles going down in flames.
Plan to down a few brews this weekend as I feel obligated to show up at the parties I've been invited to.
