Mounting options for CSiA6

I'm considering getting a CSiA6 for my center channel so I can take some of the strain off the A9s I have during movies, as dialogue can be hard to hear sometimes using just the A9s. I know this speaker has dual powerports on it, but there appear to be zero mounting options for it other than the angled "from the floor" thing, which won't do because that's under my computer desk (and I'd kick it I'm sure) and it isn't going to sit on top of an LCD monitor.

Anybody have any thoughts on a good way to mount this on my wall behind the monitor? Oh, and no, I have no room on my desk. I have literally half an inch clearance from the front edge of my desk to my Logitech G11 keyboard's spacebar area.

I know I'm playing this stuff in a bedroom, which is small and the A9s and CSiA6 are "overkill", but the fullness at lower volumes is so enjoyable. Not like other speakers that require me to jack up the volume to the -20db+ mark to get details out of. :)

Have you seen the CSiA6 in person yet? Its pretty big and deep.
Perhaps put a shelf up on the wall.

I sit about six feet from the computer (24" screen). Yeah, it ain't no giant LCD TV, but it's still HD, and considering my space limitations...yeah. ;)

As for pictures, I'd love pics, but I have no digital cam. Go fig. I'm like one of two people I know of without one. It was just never a priority for me to have one since I rarely take pics.

+1 - other than putting a very stout shelf on the wall - mounting options are very limited. the a6 is huge

Yeah, I'll likely be getting a shelf for the A6 when I can get the speaker. I know it's huge, but I really don't like smaller centers as their vocals always sound tinny compared to my mains. Besides, I own a pair of A9s....in a bedroom. With a MicroPro 4000. I already have overkill. I just want my overkill to sound as good as it can, not just "good enough". :)

They make in-wall speakers specifically designed for that purpose. If you stick the CSiA6 in the wall, expect to use it as a shelf in the next room (and take out a few studs while you're at it). Oh yeah, the CSiA6 is ported so no.

Yeah, i guess I didnt really think about that too much did I. I never looked at the in wall section until now, lots lots o' $$ compared tto the standard center. Thanks for the reality check.

Fry's has the A6 for $199, sadly cherry only. The black version is still $499. Sigh. But for $200 less brand new, it's a damned hard deal to pass up. And the cherry one does look nice at least. It just won't match my A9s.

I mounted a 10" deep 3' long shelf from Pottery Barn above my TV and have my CSi A4 on top of it. I angled it down with 3 rubber door stops. The trick to that was to turn them upside down, such that the surface that would normally contact the floor contacts the bottom of the speaker, with the tall part of the wedge oriented toward the rear of the speaker. That said, I just checked the specs of the CSi A6, and at 14" deep, that sucker is 6" deeper than my A4! Good luck finding an off-the-rack shelf deep enough to accommodate it...

Looks like I miss out again. Figures that Fry's would only put them on sale because all they have left is the demo units, no actual stock. Anywhere. Oh they've got tons, and I mean TONS of the black version. For $499.

Looks like I get to wait for another sale or a place that has this one for less. $500 is a LOT for a center channel. Starting to enter Martin Logan (sic) territory there.
