Default Vintage 2 channel on a budget

Upgraded a beat up set of Monitor 5A with these Monitor 7Bs I found on Craigslist for $40. Had to replace a driver but otherwise they were in great condition. Built some stands a while back. Now I just need a more permanent place to set things up.

Great match with this old receiver. Picked out things out by reading up on here. Good sounding stuff.

Sorry....need a better camera too. Every picture I take is blurry.

Yea, but I've got a bed in the way right now. I've got to move some stuff around.

That is a very nice H-K receiver from about 1975. My store sold the 330, 430, and 930, but we never got 630's or 730's. Typical H-K full-bodied sound from very few watts.

Not long ago, I had a 230 "Nocturne". The best sounding 10 ss watts you ever heard. Maybe some of the KLH receivers also sounded that good. The Model 52 did, but it was 33 wpc.

Awesome!! I have a room with a very similar set-up, an old school kick ass Onkyo A-10 and Polk 10B's with RDO's and new caps....Nothing can touch it for the total price tag.

    Nice work anton

Very nice man. Great deal on the speaks! I let a pair of Monitor 5b's for $25 pass me by on Craigslist because I was unfamiliar with Polk's speakers then. Really feel stupid about it now...
