    The dude is more messed up for other reasons than being Manson Jr. Your parents don't define you. They raise you but at some point it is assumed that you become and are your own person defined by your own words and actions. While legally that time is your 18th birthday, reality obviously has a little flex room.

    But "sinking in to depression" and then crying to a tabloid about how horrendous a deal you were dealt because you're dad is Charles Manson is just a perfect example of the glut of people who refuse to take responsibility for themselves or even ownership of their own lives. This guy is 41 and has lived half his life not knowing who his dad was and now, all of a sudden, he finds out and it defines him to a point where he is so conflicted? Yeah, sure dude. You got issues. Suck it up, change your address and disappear from the nutcase if you don't want contact with him.

    The last thing you should do is whine to The Sun saying "My dad is Charles Manson! BOO HOO! Look how horrible my life is! BOO HOO!" You know what? Had I met the dude on a street or in a bar, he would have been Matthew Roberts. If it came out that Charles Manson was his biological father that would have been a bummer for him but his real father is Mr. Roberts.

    Now, every time I see his picture, I will think "That's Charles Manson's bastard kid!"
