Default Humble Pie - Smokin' coming on SACD

I'm looking forward to this one. Humble Pie was the warm up band and stole the show at the first real rock concert I went to.......it was all downhill from there. :D

Hmmm....I'm glad to hear there're more pop/rock SACD on the way.

I noticed this was originally from A&M Records, which is now part of Universal Music. With Steve Hoffman's confirmation that 2 Elvis SACD titles on the way (licensed from Sony), it seems the major labels are now more receptive to licensing their titles to be released on SACD. Even former DVD-A proponent, Warner Bros. Music, has 4 upcoming SACD titles licensed to and being released by Mobile Fidelity.

I'll be getting this and the Fillmore concert. Have both on vinyl but tt still not fixed so have not heard them in awhile. Both very good tunes imho. These will go well on a summer night of drinking and horseshoes!

The re-release of the Humble Pie Smok'in vinyl is very nice. My old copy was pretty rough so I was glad to see this come out.

LPs are long gone but I do remember the H.PIE and I will look for this! It goes without saying that Keiko is our resident Pie-ologist a regular P(ie)h.D!

    Thanks.
