    Default Fluke 110multimeter info

I am looking for a multimeter that will let me test caps ect since my "basic" one doesn't. Anyone have a Fluke 110 and can you tell me if it is a good one for this?

    link: http://us.fluke.com/usen/Products/Fl...keUnitedStates
    Specs say:
    Resistance
    Accuracy* ± (0.9%+1) Max. Resolution 0.1 Ω Maximum 40 MΩ
    Capacitance
Accuracy* ± (1.9%+2) Max. Resolution 1 nF Maximum 10,000 µF
    Frequency
Accuracy* ± (0.1%+2) Max. Resolution 0.01 Hz Maximum 50 kHz

Next, what is a used one worth, IF it is fully functional?
There is one on CL, he's askin $100.

    Thanks

Fluke makes excellent test equipment. I have a Fluke 187 that I picked up off eb for $120 and it is fantastic.

I believe that the 110 is discontinued but sold for about $400 new. The going rate for used looks to be $100 to $160 used.

Tennma also makes a LCR meter. Check with MCM Electronics. B&K Electronics also makes a nice one too.

Don't forget, just because it reads the right amount of capacitance doesn't mean it's working properly, especially when it comes to audio grade quality for crossovers.

    ESR sucks.
