    Default CS1 Center Speaker

    Hello,

I read a couple reviews that stated this center speaker's impedance was 4 OHMS and could be hazardous to other equipment in your system based on 8 OHMS of impedance. Any truth to this? Thanks

I'm pretty it sure its a 8ohm speaker per Polks spec page. I have it as my center and have had no issues with it.

Sure did!!!!!! and I figured it was BS since there was only 1 review on this product that stated that. I just wanted to hear it from a few of the "horses mouths" that it was in fact, BS! :)

    Thanks

I ordered the CS2 from Newegg the other day ($119.00). I failed to realize that it is too big for the area I want to put it. I need to order the CS1. :)

Find a way to make it fit. Newegg won't let you return it as it's a "bulk item" - read their bulk item policy. Besides, you'll enjoy the CS2 more than you will the CS1. Not to say the CS1 is a bad speaker, it's just that having those larger drivers will help keep you from thinking "what if?". That is, until you're ready for the RTi's :) .

I called Newegg. They told me to just REFUSE the package from UPS and it will be returned to them and they will credit my credit card once they receive the item. The guy from Newegg told me this will happen as long as I don't open the package.

Oh, good deal then. I assumed that the speaker had already been delivered.
