I didn't expect anything except getting my Sunfire amp repaired again after it was repaired two months earlier ( on the same R channel ).

NON-TRANSFERABLE WARRANTIES ON RITAS' WORK!!!! BEWARE

I received it back on Christmas eve which was very NICE.

I collect chess sets and on CL was a Franklin Mint "Lord of the Rings" set for 50.00.The ad said 2 rooks were missing and a couple issues.Well the set cost 1200.00 new so I replyed but I was 6 hrs. after the posting.15 hrs. later I get an email saying I can meet her and look at it. I did and there was only a couple of nicks on the side of the case and a broken root that was in a baggie on top.The set is on my coffee table now.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Franklin-Mint-CH...item5d27676b2a

I then went to say Merry Christmas to some people at one of the pawn shops I like alot and there on a shelf was a pr. of Polk audio RT55i's black in 9/10 cond.. The price was 180 but the girl says 100.00 would get em. They're in my speaker shack now. I tested them last night and they sound fine.

I sold a receiver 120.00,got a reimbursement from my shoulder manipulation,510.00, cashed in my coins (we do this every Christmas holiday )210.00,
    Sold another receiver 80.00.

So I ordered some more speaker wire from Parts Express.

So alot happened in a couple of days for my hobbies. and got some cash to counter-act that fuel oil bill of 400.00 we paid a couple of weeks ago.;)

    All is calm.........Merry Christmas

I wanted a 54" panny and a BlueRay for my cave but we put a new roof on our house and I went for massage/accupunture sessions.I'm going to wait a couple months now probably.:(

I spoiled my niece and nephew. My mom threw some cash my way earlier in the month and my old man did the same, which always helps out. For our family, it's mostly about being together. The only folks who get spoiled are those under 18. Frankly, I like it that way. Some people get way too nuts with the gift giving/receiving.

With a new house it's harder to pull the trigger on stuff I want because you gotta think about all the stuff that may go wrong. When I was leasing a condo I didn't have that problem.

I'm debating on whether to get a really big screen TV (only a 32" HDTV right now, although it has a picture that's hard to beat) or get neck deep in a projector/screen. :o

yeah so far so good with them for sure.. I read a few reviews of them that they don't have good bass, but i think that must have been someone who listens to a lot of bass heavy hip hop b/c I thought it had nice tight musical bass. Was listening to a CD of a local Group (Asylum Street Spankers) and the upright bass sounded great.

I got some clothes and a new sand wedge...but, honestly, just being home was enough for me. Nothing like being home for the holidays.

TLW and I hope that you all had a great Christmas!!
