    Welcome to club polk.

I am assuming you mean RTi 6 speakers? There should be some gold colored jumpers between the two sets of binding posts, and I would recommend you attach your speaker wire to the bottom posts although it really doesn't matter. If there is no gold jumpers between the post just use a short length of speaker wire between the post and you should be good to go.

Pop on your favorite music and Enjoy,

    Scott
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Scott, the model number is RT16 they are one of the first in the Reference Theater series
I was able to get the spec's off from the Polk Audio site but there was nothing about how to wire them. Thanks for the info because the gold jumpers are in place. I have connected them with an old pair of Monitor 7's recently purchased, they sound great together.

With lots of power :) the RT16s don't really open up without some nice power driving them.

Ok, first you want to leave the jumpers in place (assuming they are still there). They are the metal plates connecting the top and bottom posts. If you are wiring normally, connect to the bottom posts. Bi-wiring is what the separate set of posts are for, so you'll be needing external amplification. Hope this helps.

All good I followed Millerlite's suggestion, the jumpers were in place, hooked up to a Marantz SR66, they sound excellent to me.
