Default CC employees and frequenters, Infinity Alpha 25ES

I am considering the Infinity Alpha 25ES's for surround duty, because they are wall mountable and they have the CMMD drivers that my interlude mains and center have (timber matching.) I havent made it into circuit city lately, and I also havent really ever demo'ed surrounds before, so any opinions would help. I titled this for Circuit City employees because I figured they would have the most experience with these.

If you have heard them, please give me your opinion, there is not a single review out there on the net.

IMO, the Alpha line is terrible... Try to find a set of IL's on closeout or used.

no IL's that are wall mountable, (at least I dont think the IL10 is. If it is, that will look damn silly) also, no dipole/bipole designs, just monopole. Why do the alphas suck, if they have the same components essentially as the IL's? (Not that Im saying they dont). I've heard the IL's were only moved out because of looks, and to get a new speaker line on the market.

Ah yes, the no wall mount problem. Better go for a pair of towers for the rears! :)

The Alpha's are just incredibly harsh sounding and their cabinets are probably the cheapest on the market.

If I had room for anything but wallmounts, I'd be using my RT55i's..

Ceruleance, my local CC doesn't carry them yet, and no others in the entire area do either, even though they are on CC's website. They had to special order them for me. They will match the Interludes just fine, as I asked Infinity that very question, and here's the response I got:

    Hi,

This will absolutely work wonderfully. The ALPHA surrounds will work
    great
with any and all of the INTERLUDE series speakers. Enjoy!!!!

    I hope this helps.

Will the new Alpha bi/di/monopole surround speakers "voice" or timbre
match up with the older Interlude series of speakers that the Alphsa
pretty much replaced? I've noticed that they seem to have the same or
similair drivers. Thank you very much in advance.
