Took these just futting around with the new Nikon. Only a couple of puppy pics and 1 each of Mele & Leia. I'll post more later on.

Not yet. Listing them next week. They'll be 6 weeks old this Friday. It's gonna be tough too. We got attached to them. That puppy in the first pic has a real sweet personality. He's my fave out of the litter.

This Nikon D3000 rocks. It's so simple to use and all I had to do was attach the USB from the camera to my Mac. iPhoto recognized it without the need to install any additional software. I've just been shooting in 'auto' mode with it and haven't even tried the advanced stuff yet.

Nice shots..good color, good resolution--even though they're probably better than what my laptop is set at! Nice toy, nice work!

Mike get an external SD/SDHC USB 2.0 or firewire card reader. It is much faster than the USB cable to the camera. Also...NEVER...use the feature that allows you to delete pictures off the SD card from the computer via the USB connected to your camera or a card reader. ALWAYS do a "format" with the card in camera. It wipes the card completely clean and reduces the chance of a card failure. Another good tip is to get another SD card or two and rotate them periodically. The better card mfgs (Sandisk is the best, followed by Kingston and Lexar) all have good recovery programs if you have a card that crashes and you can often get photos you think are lost.

    Very nice photos BTW.
