    Default LSiC?

I need a center for my HT...

Is the LSiC worth the money or can I get something that costs less?

My amp is 150wpc @ 4ohms for the center channel.

The LSiC is definitely worth the money. You can get something better that costs more. I doubt if you will get something equal and new that costs less, but it might be possible to find a high end CC on the used market.

Does the rest of your home theater have speakers from the Polk LSi series? - if yes, the LSiC is what you want. If not - get the center that matches.

Try to keep the center and front mains the same series of speakers. Only use the LsiC if your front mains are Lsi9, 25 or 15's. That would be your best bet sonically.
Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,
Yamaha RX-V2500 System, Sunfire grand 5 channel, Carver A753 3 channel amp.

Polk HT system 2: ,Polk CS1000 center, Polk cs400rear center, Polk RT800 mains stacked with RT55's, Polk F/X 1000 rears running on a Yamaha RX-V2200

    Polk Speaker collection: SDA SRS 1.2tl x 2, SRT system, SDA SRS 2 P/B, SDA 2A, SDA 1C Studio, SDA CRS+, Monitor 12 series 2, 7B & 4, SRS 3.1tl, RTA 15tl, LS90

I agree with Michael and blue. Only get the LSiC if you have the LSi series for your mains. If not then get the timbre matched center for your mains. If you don't know which one it is, let us know what you have for mains and we will let you know. Good luck.
