Phone pre--parasound Zphono or PPH-100?

Which one of these is a better phono pre.I can get the PPH-100 for 65.00.The zphono is up to about that price.
The reason Im asking is which ever I choose it is going to get modded I hope.Better resistors and caps as I saw on a few sites for the PPH-100 that really make it a better phono pre.And that way I can pick the parts I want to get the sound Im looking for.My current set up is way to warm sounding.

The ZPhono is the current model, replacing the PPH100. I have had both. They are tremendous bang for the buck. Yes, there is lots of info on mods for these, but I've never heard either one modded. Get the ZPhono. It is the best I've heard in that price range.

The Zphono sold for more than I was willing to pay.I Will never understand some of these ebayers that overpay for some of these things.Young people perhaps?
I could get a brand new unit with a warranty for a few bucks more so I let it go.So its either going to be the PPH-100 or a 640p which I am now really considering after reading more reviews in some other audio forums.The 640p is supposed to really shine with good quality interconnects and a better PS.If I go with the 640 I hope to find a polkie who could help me build a high Q PS for it.?ANYONE???
Anyway,since Im planning on doing this in the next week I was looking at ICs on audiogon and came across a great deal on air matrix ICs which I like and will use for the Phono/TT setup. The seller sold me a 1M pair for 90.00 plus a .5M pair for free included.SWEET..
