I want to use my new PSW10 with both my television and stereo.
Will it do any harm to:
connect the television line output to the PSW10 line input
AND
connect the stereo's speaker-level output to the PSW10 speaker-level input?

Welcome to the forum white ears. That, I must say, is a very unusual question.
I have no clue, never tried it before. To answer your question, it may be best to call Polk CS on Monday to see how it's designed internally. If you install the line level, it may cancel out the speaker level input or vice-versa. I would definitely NOT try to do this with both inputs playing at the same time.
Why don't you just hook up the TV out into a spare input on the receiver? Even an unused tape loop input would work.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

Unfortunately, the receiver and television are in different rooms, pretty far apart. Speaker wires go from my wire closet to all of the rooms in the house, plus my shop. So, I was thinking ahead. But I hadn't considered having the sub do double-duty. I will try Polk Customer Service. Thanks for trying to help!
It may work, but I wouldn't recommend it.
