New Cherry RTi A9's arriving today !

Hi all,
Newby here and waiting on my new RTI A9's.

I presently have a new Yamaha RX-V1900 and a new Polk DSW400 sub. I will be replacing my old RX-V1300 and NHT ST4 Tower speakers. Have always wanted a set of polks and almost got the LSi15's a while ago.

Anyone have any trouble or have any advice for hooking these new speakers up?

I will be Bi-wiring them just like I did on My NHT's.

Later, will get a Polk center at some point.

Well, I got them unboxed and hooked up. Pretty difficult without someone to help.. Man they are heavy. Look awesome !!! I will do a search on this site, but do you guys/gals know how to properly break in these new polks ??? I have heard different advice. Thank you in advance. (CANT WAIT TO GET BACK HOME) -Moto :)

LOL, +1. Don't know if there is a specific break in "time period" just be careful with the volume knob for the first few months or so and you will be fine. If you want to get some real power to those 12's and see what they can really do, add an external amp to your setup, if you don't already have one. Brands to look into would include Adcom, Rotel, Sunfire, and Emotiva. 200+ watts will get you started, good luck, and welcome to Club Polk..
