    Angry What a PAIN

About ever 3 weeks my ip address gets banned form this site. After about 4 hours it goes away. I have email the admin many times about this but seems not never go away. Today was very bad as it has been banned from 8 this morning until right now.

I am sorry to do this admin but this needs to be fixed.

This comment makes me think it is something other than an IP ban. your IP would change as you leave home and go to the library. It happens on multiple computers as well? I would say it is something with your account/profile here and not your computer.

    Just a thought...

I think it's because the mods hate you because you're beautiful ?

That's the only thing I can think of (which probably explains why I've been stripped of the title "The Answer Man").

If you' can't access the site from a public library, then it's sounds like your account.

If it only happens at home, do you have a wireless router? Have you changed your wireless password recently? No! Maybe you should.

If Polk really banned a set of IPs from accessing this site, you wouldn't be able to get back in.

I secure my internet and my router as soon as I installed it. My internet is secure and not in a crowded neighborhood.

You'll need to start doing diagnostics when it happens:
    1) what other sites might not be working?
    2) how is your provider's DNS behaving?
    3) are traces getting lost?

Not a lot of fun to learn, but I just don't have the time to explain different diagnostic tools that may or may not help you.

    1. all other forums and sites are working.

    2. Other computers are working just fine on the network except for when going to polk audio.

    3 I doubt it.

We have went over that stuff a bit last semester and will be going over more this semester.

Try creating a new profile, and see if it still happens. Use something similar so we still know it's you... Maybe BAF2?
