Just wondering if anyone knows of a company or organization that will buy/accept used electronics for "parts" (like you would take an old car to a salvage yard)?
Thanks

Check the Sam's club site. They started a recycle program for trade-in cash or possible recycle for free.

I know of a company that specializes in recycling electronic materials. The company is http://www.e-shred.com. They have a process where they shred electronics (computers, TVs, Bose speakers, pretty much anything), they separate the various materials (plastics, metals {gold, silver, copper, etc}) and sell off the materials for reuse be manufactures.

WA state has a program wherein business take electronic parts, at a reduced rate or maybe even free. I have not given them anything, so I don;t know exactly how much they charge, if they do. Check out a company called PC Recycle, or used computer stores in your area. I also know that I see ads all the time from electronic's repair guys who are looking for older units for parts.
