Talking NOT So Good Audio Deals of the Day

Well just like the title reads, this thread is for everyone to point, laugh, and make fun of dip****s trying to sell junk for gold prices! We've all seen these idiots listing on craigslist and fleabay, so I figured we needed a post to look at and enjoy. I will start it with an fleabay listing of what I believe is some vintage mini monitors at a great price! lol :D

Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else -

Just a suggestion to all--do like Zingo did and also "quote" the contents of the CL listing in your post. Since once the ad is dead the link is dead, and then there's nothing fun to look at. (just don't include any phone #'s or email addy's)

    Default [[[ KLIPSCH HORNS ]]] - $1800 (N E Philly..)

I just love this guy's description:
These are 1982 KLIPSCH HORNS..They dont look all that great but..They sure do sound great..1800 FIRM..!!
Simply stated. No pic - link

***I'm not saying anything about their value--just the description. They could very well be worth that much-- Well I could add that when asking $1800 (for anything) that he could have been more descritive and included a pic or two at least.

    Polk Subwoofer PSW100 Audiofile! - $150
"For your home system: Polk Powered Subwoofer with 8'' driver in excellent functional and cosmetic used condition. Velocity Compression Drive Technology will put dynamic bass to your system. I am the original owner. The unit has had little use and has been carefully stored in pet free and smoke free home. Size: 18.5" (D)x14" (H)x11"(W). List Price was $500. I paid $340.
This is NOT the "Audio Source" model that has the same number._____Read to the bottom of this blog: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19491"

ok for one it went for 500 in 1995 which it stated on a thread in polk forums. Don't really think its worth what he's asking.

Hey, that is $75 less than original retail, if they were brand new!

    That's a rippin' deal! ;)
