I've heard that having tweeter mismatches in your front stage really brings out the best. His setup and knowledge is at least worth 2k

Thumbs down Polk R50 Tower Speakers - $150

    http://allentown.craigslist.org/ele/1841456301.html

These speakers have suffered cosmetic damage, from sitting on a wet carpet.(delamination) The "sound" part of the speakers however, are in perfect working order! Someone with rudementary woodworking skills could probably fix these up without too much trouble. They sound terrific!!~ If I thought I could fix them,I would certainly keep them! ( they listed for $400.00+ a pair in their day!) I would like to get $75.00 each for them. Here are some specs: Dimensions: 36"H X 7-3/4"W X 11" deep. Speakers: Two (2) 6-1/2" mid range drivers and one 3/4 dome tweeter in each cabinet. Connections: 5-way binding posts. Grilles are also included, and are in good shape, but do not fit at the moment, due to the swelling at the bottom of the cabinets.

Man, this guy has been posting his HT setup for 2 months now!

    No affil - http://monterey.craigslist.org/ele/2003369668.html

"SHARP VISION XV-Z900U PROJECTOR, 6 SPEAKER SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS BY "ONKYA"

    1-" DA-LITE" SCREEN 95"X 55" OR 105 DIAGONAL INCHES
AND DVD AND AV- MULTI CHANNEL RECEIVER ......................$3900 "

I tried giving him a 'reality check' while at the same time being tactful but he just reported my email as spam. I even told him he spelled Onkyo wrong

Oh well. Least it's down from $5,700

Man, that projector/screen better be worth the bulk of that, 'cause I've got the same oinker surround speakers (came in a HTIB), got them from the onkyo website refurbed for, I think, 2 bills, with the receiver. Serviceable, but nothing spectacular.
