Monitor 10/SDA-CRS combo?

Hmmm, might be the beer talking, or thinking rather, but I had a thought....

I have noticed a set or 2 of the SDA-CRS that appear to be available. Now mind you, before I say this, I have been known to blurt out a thought or two before actually considering it, so don't blast me too hard if it is that bad...

What if...I combined a set of SDA-CRS with the Monitor 10's? The thought was to basically set the CRS on top of the Monitors. I have dual binding posts on the Adcoms so hookup would be a no brainer, but the thought was to hook up the Monitors to their own amp and the CRS to theirs. Then one could use the balance control to adjust between the Monitors and the CRS's.

Or even using the CRS's in the same manner, but as "speaker stands". Either way, I could devise a way to anchor one to the other without drilling any kind of holes in either set. Each set could even be adjusted independently of the other.

At the moment, I am picturing the CRS on top of Monitors....each with their respective toe-in (or lack there of), tilt, etc...

I'll let someone knowledgable respond to the technical aspects. I am in this for the fun. I wish I had some CRSs to bring with a 6-pack for a listen.

Whew, at least I didn't get beat up.
That was one of the dumber ideas I ever blurted out. Even embarassed myself with that one.

I literally sat straight up in bed this morning and said "Holy crap, what was I thinking!"

I don't have any CRS, was just doing some alcohol induced pondering when I saw some available. ( I'll try to keep that in check next time)

I'd love to have some SRS, etc.. When I find them close enough, I'll have them.
