Typical placement as recommeded by Polk is; Three feet from the side walls, no less then 4' apart with 6 to 8' apart being ideal, and as far from the back wall as needed for proper bass response.
Welcome again. As I posted in your other thread, IMHO you'd be better off seeking out a proper SDA cable. It will be safer and probably sound better.
They must be parallel to the back wall, no toe in.

I don't think anyone would buy SDAs and not use the SDA cable. The problem is a lot are sold without the cable and it brings up these types of questions. How you would loose the SDA cable is beyond me. I think some of these sellers have the SDAs in storage for long periods of time and forget about the SDA cable.
thanks guys for the info i decided to trade up and got a pair of srs 3.1 much much better sounding to me than the 2b's
What size room are you running the SRSs in?
cnh
14x30
If you can set them up on the long walls it would be better.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks
Ben
