Not a problem I use to use armor all but this stuff works much better, and does not get tension in a pinch of the rubber.

Worked on the kick panel yesterday, going to clean up with some more bondo and sanding. than wrapped. The trunk and hod release are difficult to work around.

How long do you actually have possession of that car? Its been a while. Looks like you're doing a damn good job.
Been 3 weeks going back to him this thursday. He is fine with it and very understanding that I go to school 4 days out of the week and that I do not own a garage. Very good guy, if I did not go to college and had nice weather I would of been done in about a week and a half.

Now that's nice :)
I really don't understand why Polk made that blue led on the bass remote soo freaking bright. Bright to the point of blinding you and emitting more light then then car's dome bulbs.
I'd like to keep blue led just not so damn bright, might as well go your route.
Well the knob nor the amp are polk but pretty much the same idea.

He was very happy with the car, very impressed with the audio aspect of it as well "as was I". In two weeks he will drop off the kick panels and the door panels for the speakers to get molded into the doors for more foot room.

You're a very talented installer BAF! Great and awesome job as well as very strong attention to details. Bravo!
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
Thank you, the plexi glass will be installed in some time and I think the speakers in the doors will help with audio as well. Looking forward to both. Just glad to have a bit of a break.

Turned out looking great. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you mold the speakers into the doors, as I was also thinking I wouldn't like the footroom the kick panels took up.

Looks very nice! How durable is that plexiglass? Is that something used more for a show car, or can you be pretty rough with it, throwing items in the trunk, etc?

This plexi is not as durable BUT they make a harder coated plexi which does not scratch easy. This is more for show cars but he will put a blanket over it it is tough stuff.

Nice Job! Wow I am working on the rear deck lid of my BMW 740 iL, the four base rear speakers are old (original) I purchased 4 Polk audio DXI 525, got them in there, however when I tirn the base up something pops once in a whilr. Spoke to some installers and looked on line, There are two green wires to each speaker, Green with Black stripe and plain Green. Trying to figure out how BMW did + and - I heard the - is all GREEN ??? and the Green with black stripe +??? can this be? I have been doing a lot of research and at this point I am changing the wires aroun, Green Black stripe as - and all Green as + Any suggestions would be grately appreciated.
I am new to this web site, It is GREAT :)
Sincerely,
Mike Siedliski
