    Default Marantz SR6001 ventilation

I currently have my SR6001 on the bottom shelf of my tv stand. There is a glass shelf 1" above it and nothing on the sides of it. The sides have 6" of clearance and there is 6" in the back. I'm planning on placing a 6" desk fan on the floor next to the receiver and facing it towards the receiver and xbox 360. Hopefully the fan will move the hot air out into the room. Will I run into overheating issues?

The 1" on top is a bit tight, but I tend to be paranoid about heat issues. If you get a mini fan from a place like Cool Components, mount it in the back, and then blow the hot air out the front. Is there any way to get a bit more clearance on top?

Unfortunately, the glass shelf above the receiver isn't adjustable. I had everything cranking last night and the fan seems to be working, because the receiver was cool when I turned it off. The fan is angled to blow the warm air from the back/side/top out the other side of the stand.
