So...... when did Polk start offering the RD0-194's and 198's? I guess you could that say I'm curious. You could also say that I'm hungry, but that seems irrelevant to this thread, so don't!

Just in Time.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
This looks like a question for Ken.
I truly didn't think about it when I ordered mine. I was glad they had some that fit the openings the same and I read they sounded smooth.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies . I am glad to be a part of a select group that tries to take our auditory and visual senses to a higher level: we EXPERIENCE them.... GOT SDA?...GOT SUNFIRE? ...GOT Maggies?
2004 or there abouts.
'Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
Thanks. See now that's the type answer I was hoping for. The reason I was hoping for a recent date like that is becasue is shows that Polk really cares about its customers, and it also shows that they really care about their vintage lines of speakers. I mean, the most recent models of speakers that can even use those RD0's are from what, '91? There was no need to develope these tweeters 10+ years later other than to satisfy a relatively small niche of loyal vintage Polk lovers. I know they're makin' money on'em, but if they just wanted to make money with a new product they could have pumped out some low end boombox or something like that for the masses.
Cheers Polk!:D
