Default Older amplified surround working with my new HP PC.

I have an older Polk Audio surround, with a PSW50 powered subwoofer,4 satellites, and 1 center speaker.I recently purchased a HP Pavillion Elite PC with 8 GB memory, and 1 TB RAM. Can I make these systems work together? If so can someone tell me how to wire it?

    Welcome to CP.

I do not think that you would be able to use these with a pc. the powered sub would be fine but the speakers would need some sort of powered amplifier. What speakers are they exactly?
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4
    Sub - PSW110

Does you have an audio card with a 5.1 output?
Typically these use three 1/8" stereo outouts and/or a fiber toslink output.

I have used a low end receiver such as an Onkyo TX-SR506 or a Pioneer VSX-515 and connected the audio card to the 5.1 AVR inputs using three 1/8" stereo to RCA jack connectors. Radio Shack part #42-2483.
Or you could use a fiber cable described above.

    Does this help?
