    Default Blown Tweeter

I have a blown tweeter on a set of R50's. I'm looking into a replacement or upgrade. Tried emailing tech support but no answer and it's been about a week if not more.

Any suggestions on a replacement or if there are tweeters still available as oem replacement?

Call Polk CS and mention you are a Club Polk member to get the discount. They should have them for you.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

+1 on Ben's comments. Calling is always the best option, E-mail is not a good idea. I can only imagine the backlog on that. Give em a call first thing Monday morning and I'm sure they will take care of you.

Yea, I was avoiding the phone... but I'll give it a shot. Are there problems with these tweeters? I don't really play it loud at all due to a 2 year old in the home.
The left tweeter started to make this weird loud crackle then just died. The temp replacement from an old set of paradigms I have in there is working fine, just won't fit in the hole due to a much larger magnet. First time I've had a speaker fail unless it was me being an idiot and forgeting to stand it back up after moving things around.

    thanks for the welcome!

So I heard back from the customer service and they are stating that my model has the RD1503-1 tweeter at about 1/4 the cost of buying a new set of R50s from frys. The ones that I removed say RD5616-5.

    What's the difference?
