    Default Ugly psw505

I really don't like the way my sub looks with the grill off so I always keep the grill on. Here's a pic http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volum...fer-driver.jpg

Thinking about painting the gray part black. If it looks like crap well then I just go back to what I'm doing now which is just keep the grill on. Can anybody recommend a type of black spray paint I should use? For example flat or gloss. Or is this just a really bad idea?

The reason for all of this is that I built a box out of 2x8s to put my center channel in and I put my TV on top of that box. I'll post pictures later of before and after. It's just bare wood so I'm going to be attempting to paint that black as well.

I have 2 days off from work starting tomorrow, first day off in over 2 weeks, so I figure I need to find something constructive to do besides drink my self dumber and laundry.

As far as I can tell, if you're inclined to leave the grill off... that's an improvement! :)

+1... Looks much better than that greyish color Polk tend to use for their subs.

Just be carefull of any enclosure for your center as it may dratiscally alter the sound (Boxy type of sound)
