Default Rti12's On The Way !!!

I finally pulled the trigger last night on a pair of Rti12's from the Polk Ebay store. Great price, $599. Even with shipping and tax, still better than other deals. However......still approaching this conservatively. I'm very anxious to compare to my current Rti8 set up, which is sounding pretty good lately. I'm assuming the refurbs will still have a break in period, though, so SQ comparisons will be over time. Any recommendations on settings for the new beasts are welcome. Thanks Sherardp for your response. I have the Rti8's bi-amped through the SC-07 (which I know really isn't doing much) using my own home made 12 ga speaker cables terminated with nanners.

My system is finally nearing completion (for now at leaast, until the next upgrade bug bites). Still planning to upgrade my Monster Power Bar 1100 to an APC H10 or H15 and some accoustic treatments in the room and maybe a few cables. I'll provide new photos in the System Showcase after the 12's arrive. :)

Congrats on your new speakers....those are my favorite Rti towers...I think you'll be quite surprised how much of an improvement you'll hear over your 8s!

I am also jealous of that price....jeesh....less than 600 for a pair of 12s! That's a GREAT deal....!

Enjoy...look forward to the pics.....That Pioneer is a nice unit...and you have a nice pair of subs as well!

Nice bro, and if you need something shoot me a PM. In regards to power conditioning check out audiogon. Nothing wrong with buying used there. I bought my Monster power 7000MKII there. Congrats on the 12s.
