Does anyone have any experience with a Carver M4.0t. I just bought one and I really can't find that much on the net about other than the power ratings and technical details. I am going to be hooking up my 1c's up to it.

the 500 T is a great sounding amp. Many feel it is one of the better sounding carvers ( outside of the 7 and 9T tube, and sunfire stuff)
Yeah I really liked the sound of it with my Monitor 10's. It is currently on ebay for sale.

Then why are you changing? Just wondering.
The M500T is not a common ground amp and it won't work with my speakers so thats why I am changing.

Can anyone tell me if the speaker terminals on the Carver M4.0t accept bananna plugs?

That is great, I was worried there for a minute after reading the manual. I didn't see anything in there about that. I just bought some speaker cables that have bananna plugs soldered on.

The only Carver I'm aware of that does not accept nanner's is the M-500t.
