He was probably a guitar player before he was an artist/producer;)
Most people just listen to music and watch movies . I am glad to be a part of a select group that tries to take our auditory and visual senses to a higher level: we EXPERIENCE them.... GOT SDA?...GOT SUNFIRE? ...GOT Maggies?

I've thought that Prince was a great guitarist for years, I just don't enjoy his music very much.

    Good Clip, though.

I saw this a while back and was blown away. I will be honest, I never knew he could play like that.

awesome video. I love when he can show that side of himself. I can see a clear Jimi Hendrix influence in his personal and playing style.

I have also always thought he was a fantastic guitar player. Not my favorite, but quite good. I too have seen a Hendrix influence on his playing. I would bet if you asked Prince he would say Hendrix is his favorite.

Not my favorite guitarist, but still, I think his fretwork has always been very underated.

Saw him perform "Fury" on SNL a few years ago and was blown away by his guitar work. I immediately went online to see if anyone was talking about his performance, and I guess the highest compliment he can receive is that people on the Bruce Springsteen and Van Halen forums were all talking about what a kick butt job he did!
