Default Sonus Faber Grand Piano Domus Pictures

My picture taking skill suck and will do better when there is better lighting.

They are magnificent to look at and more importantly to listen to. Unfortunately I have not had much time to listen to them. I am leaving for Killington Vt in a few hours and won't be back till Friday, hopefully in one piece.

Pictures or it didn't happen! Well here they are. The picture don't do them any kind of justice at all!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't find one mark on them at all, not one blemish.

My wife thinks the Alpha T's are better looking :o WTF???????????????? Hell, she married me so she can't be a good judge of character.

I took the grills off for the pictures only. I don't like naked speakers but these are sexy with or with out the grills.

    Nice looking speakers Drew!

I was skiing in Killington 5 years ago and had a great time. My uncle Dan is on ski patrol there on the weekends. Beautiful area, great place for a vacation. Really enjoyed the house band playing at the Wobbly Barn.

They sound great so far but need more break-in time. They have under 300 hours on them. And I need to have time to sit and listen. Just finishing up my daughters bedroom, new trim, paint, carpet and so on..........
Now I gotta get ready to go to Vermont......... Things are tough

I am willing to provide a good home to the SDA's. They look so alone in the corner like that.

So, the real question is: How does it compare to SDA? I am all ears.

    I survived without a problem.

However while playing basketball with my daughter an hour ago I went to get the ball when it roll into the wooded area behind the court. I stepped into a deep hole, about 2 feet deep, and almost broke my leg or wrecked my knee. I have no idea how that hole got there. It makes no sense that it would be there!! And I was not even drinking.

I will get some time in this week to sit and enjoy them before heading to Clemson University Wednesday.

I'll have a lot more to say after listening to them for an extended time. Right now I can say they are pretty damn good. The level of detail and accuracy is simply amazing. Very tight and true sounding throughout and with this comes a musical sound that makes me smile big time. I'll work more on placement and now have them about 8 feet apart center to center and about 28" from the wall to the front of the cabinets. Toed in so they are pointed towards my big head :D

Made progress. They had about 200 hours on them when I bought them from a little old rich lady up in Boston. I put maybe fifty to a hundred on them so I am close, I think.
