Been a long time since I've heard New Riders of the Purple Sage mentioned by anyone. Definitively an early "girlfriend!" :D

7 Worlds Collide: Neil Finn and Friends Live At The St. James. Neil and Tim Finn, Johnny Marr, Lisa Germano, Eddie Vedder, Phil Selway, Sebastian Steinberg and Ed O'brien. Definitely one of the best live albums ever.

Starfish: The Church. Just a really good album, if I just walk by and pick up my guitar the first thing I play is Under The Milky Way.

Meat Is Murder: The Smiths. Brilliant Pop-craft.

The Joshua Tree: U2. Very well written, very well played and very powerful.

I don't know if I could pick just one. Maybe Rush-2112, or something by Steely Dan...

I think a better question would be....If one was to be stranded on an island (with electric and all the audio equipment one could want)...What would be the 3 groups you would take with you? You can have everything said group ever did, but only 3.

Under The Milky Way is probably one of my top three favorite songs. Absolutely beautiful.

For The Smiths, I would probably opt for The Queen is Dead. But then again, I'm a sucker for Cemetry Gates.

Yes sir. It's one of the best theme albums I've ever heard and is recorded very, very well. At least my copy is. Plus it is one of the records I restored from the flood that took almost 1000 records from my collection with mold.

No, I'm afraid I don't. I have everything they've done on vinyl, big fan. I think Sunshine Records has reissued some of them.

Bummer, I bet they would sound glorious recorded on R2R.

I'll have to check out the reissues as I love Spirit and my LPs are getting worn out from years of playing especially when I first purchased them and played them on lower end tables although I years ago I used a Shure V15 Type V cartridge. Boy I wish I still had that cartridge. It would be a nice change to try out with what I currently own.

    It's a close one between:

Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here

    and

    Supertramp- Crime of the Century.

I really like listening to Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park just to bring back the memories of the good old days when I was a wee lad lol.

I have an original pressing (1974) of this LP that I bought when I was 19. It is still one of the best recorded records ever! The SQ is absolutely superb even though it's 26 years old.

I recently bought the 200 gm virgin vinyl remaster which is awesome too.
